Serena first started practicing yoga in 2002 when her roommate dragged her along to a vinyasa flow class.
She discovered that yoga allowed her to build strength, confidence, and flexibility both in body and mind and has been hooked on yoga since that first class.
Serena completed her 200-hour certification (Yoga Alliance RYT 200) at the Madison Improvement Club in 2014 and recently finished Anahata Soul’s 300-hour yoga teacher training led by Jenn Chiarelli.
Her classes are challenging, but accessible for all abilities and infused with a sense of humor and upbeat music.
Outside the studio, she runs a local nonprofit and enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends & family.
Yoga allowed Serena to build strength, confidence, and flexibility both in body and mind.
